Champagne Billecart salmon brut reserve

THE love marriages they always lead to something good. This is the case of Nicolas-François Billecart and Elisabeth Salmon, both owners of vineyards who delivered the grapes to various Champagne houses; in 1818 they married and Elisabeth brought her husband her 14 hectares of vineyards as a dowry, convincing him to start producing his own champagne. Over two hundred years have passed and at the helm of this company Mareuil-sur-Aÿ 7 generations of Billecart have followed, all animated by the desire to continue this tradition.

Sparkling light gold colour, with a very fine perlage and delicate foam, it smells of white flowers and fresh white pulp fruit, aromatic herbs, chalk, pain grillé and honey. Full and balanced on the palate, refreshed by lively acidity and with long persistence.

Perfect aperitif, it also goes well with raw fish, sauced first courses, rustic pies and medium-aged cheeses.
